HOW CAN I SUPPORT J&D AS A STREET TEAM MEMBER
1. JOIN THE J&D STREET TEAM. IMPORTANT: Please be sure when you set up your profile, under settings - emails, receive all emails so that we may be able to communicate with you. This is very IMPORTANT.
2. PROMOTE UPCOMING EVENTS. Once an event is scheduled it will be posted under 'Discussions' on the main page. Complete 'Angel Duties' to help promote the event (even if you aren't in the area) and then post what you've done as a reply to that event.
Angel Duties can be a variety of things to be completed whenever you are available and willing. Examples are:
- Put up posters in your community when J&D are coming to your area (which we will post on the Street Team Main Page under "PHOTOS" for you to download and print).
- Give out promo card or other promotional material at locations in your area (All of which we will mail to you or your team captain to be distributed).
- Post the concert details at free, on-line community event calendar listings: If you are not in the area of the event but you have time to work from your computer, please explore Event-Listing websites that will allow you to post the concert details for free.
- Invite friends to buy tickets to the show.
- Spread the word online via social networking sites, chat rooms and message boards.
- Encourage friends to join the Street Team and help.
- Go into BEST BUY stores and other music stores that carry J&D's music to request and purchase J&D's CDs. "SAFE" and "TILL THE END OF TIME" are both available in Best Buy stores NATIONALLY. This is IMPORTANT. To ensure that the stores keep stocking these CDs, we need people to go purchase these CDs in the stores as well as make sure they are visible on the shelves. Invite your friends and family to go purchase J&D's CDs in Best Buy! In addition, many stores have J&D's CDs, but they do not have PLACEMENT CARDS with J&D's name. Please request that the store manager creates a PLACEMENT CARD to make J&D's CDs more visible! To locate a BEST BUY store closest to you, CLICK HERE!
- Phone specific radio stations to request that J&D songs be played.
- Report back to us and let us know what you were able to accomplish.
