Thanks for your reply. Randy and I have been restoring our house since 1996. It has been a labor of love. But owning this place has been a great blessing. We have been able to house two battered women, one man thrown out of his home by his girlfriend, a friend who was unemployed because of 9-11, and now my godson, a college kid who needed a place to live while he is completeing an internship this semester. I am glad to be able to do those things, but I love it here best when we are here alone, just the two of us.
I have lived in Virginia since 1987. Randy's family has been here since the 1600's. We are in a little town called Emporia, right on I-95 just a few miles from North Carolina.
Thanks for finding and supporting J&d. They really are amazing. I hope to meet you in person sometime soon.

I am so glad that you are here. My partner and I live in a great old home (built in 1921) and have spent the last 15 years restoring her. We are only the second owners in all these years. And I am a car guy, too. I saw a 1987 Rolls Royce for sale just this afternoon. Lead me not into temptation.... I hope to see you at a J&d concert soon.
